Hey classmates! We are getting ready to hit the stage again. We are hitting it hard in April, playing the hell out of Victoria, and our first show in Nanaimo, BC! Here’s how it’s shaping up:
April 5th – We help say goodbye to the infamous Rat’s Nest, in Victoria. With A.W.T., Fableway, and Bleak Machine. (The Rat’s Nest on Facebook)
April 12th – We’re back at Logan’s with Vancouver’s The Belushis and The Broken Hands. (Facebook Event)
April 26th – We play Rehab, in Victoria, with The Rebel Spell
April 27th – Road trip! We play The Cambie, in Nanaimo
As you may have heard, Class of 1984 is making some changes this year. We have decided to add a second guitarist. Our good friend Matty Fish is joining us this year, and we are excited about the new dynamic and new song writing possibilities.
That being said, we are also sad to announce that founding member Jono Jak has to step down for a few months and focus on family. He and his wife are welcoming another new punk rocker into the world, so Jono is going to take a break from the music scene for a little while. Matt will be filling in, until we can get him back.
Saturday, Feb 9th, 2013, we are playing Logan’s, and saying ‘see ya later’ to Jono. It’s an all local band line up with Poor Choices, Fableway, and Speed Garbage. Come out and support!
Even though we’re on a short hiatus, we’re already getting things rolling for the new year. We are hitting the stage at Logan’s in Victoria February 9th, 2013, with Vancouver’s Scarebro and Victoria’s Speed Garbage. Check out the Facebook event!
