Class of 1984 returns to Vancouver on April 21st, 2012. This time we’ll be at Punky Thrasherbalts (Funky Winkerbeans). Hope to see all our mainland friends there! Also on the bill are Shockload, Gnarcoleptics, and The Living Deadbeats. Ten bucks gets you in.

After a brief hiatus, Class of 1984 is just about ready to hit the stage again! We are at Logan’s on February 18th, 2012, with Left Pocket Dead, and Piggy! Also, NEW ALBUM!! This will be our CD release for the new album titled, “Ramputation”. See you soon.
This year seemed to go by real quick. New bass player. Bunch of great shows over the summer. Recorded a new album. We need a vacation! We’ll be taking a short hiatus over the fall and winter months, but will be back in the spring of 2012. Our new album will come out this winter, so we’ll be have a CD release party at some point.
Our last show of 2011 happens October 14th, at Logan’s Pub, in Victoria. We’ll be playing with “Darlings of Chelsea”, from Ontario, and Victoria locals, “Buzzard”. $10 at the door. This will be your last chance to see us for a while, and is our only headlining show this year! Don’t miss out!
We attack Victoria again in early September! We are at Logan’s on the 3rd as part of this year’s Rising Scum Fest. Also, on that bill are The Jolts, A.W.T., and Lesbian Fist Magnet. Then September 8th, we are at Club 9 One 9 opening for the legendary NOMEANSNO!
Later in September, we hit the road! We’re doing a quick weekend trip around BC. More details coming soon.
No, we did not all graduate in 1984. Our name comes from a movie of the same name, that was released in 1982, starring Michael J Fox. It follows a group of punk kids in high school, as they terrorize their teachers to the breaking point. The movie was highly under rated, in its time, but has come to be a cult classic.

Class of 1984 have made some serious progress on the new album. Drum, bass, and guitar tracks are all done, and Jake is getting the vocals done soon (if not done already, not sure of the schedule). It’s just a mix, master, and press away from being in your hands! We’re just as excited to release it, as you are to hear it. 9 new tracks and 3 covers, make up a rockin album. Recording by Hayden at MIM Recording, it is sounding amazing! We’ll let you know when we’re getting close to a release date.
